Jeffrey Weinstein, M.D., is a board certified gastroenterologist specializing in the care of patients with acute and chronic liver disorders, cirrhosis, adult liver transplantation, and other gastrointestinal diseases.
Since 2003, Dr. Weinstein has served as the Medical Director of Liver Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Services at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. In this capacity, he has guided our team of providers to significantly expand our liver transplant program and solidified The Liver Institute's standing as one of the leading tertiary referral centers in the region.
Prior to joining The Liver Institute, Dr. Weinstein served as an associate medical director and interim medical director for the liver transplant program at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
He has participated in research protocols and papers on the topics of acute and chronic liver disease, liver transplantation, and hepatitis C.
