Christie W. Gooden, M.D., MPH., is an abdominal transplant surgeon with more than 20 years of experience in the medical field. Well-known in the DFW area, she has transplanted both adults and children as well as educated various communities about transplant and kidney donation.
She also has a special interest in dialysis access surgery and has founded two dialysis access clinics in her career, both became regional referral centers.
She has presented at regional and national conferences, served on access advisory boards and participated in clinical trials.
She also provides hands-on education for dialysis clinics in the region.
