Alejandro Mejia, M.D., FACS, has extensive training in adult and pediatric liver transplantation, hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery as well as laparoscopic liver surgeries.
Dr. Mejia performed two firsts for North Texas when he led a team at Methodist Dallas Medical Center that performed a fully robotic Whipple procedure, also known as a pancreaticoduodenectomy, and liver resection procedure.
Certified by the American Board of Surgery, he is also a Fellow, American College of Surgeons (FACS).
