Welcome Dr. Ashwini Mehta

We are pleased to announce that Ashwini Mehta, D.O. Transplant Hepatologist, has recently joined our practice at The Liver Institute at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.

Dr. Mehta graduated from medical school from Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine. She was chief resident in internal medicine at Medical City Forth Worth and then completed fellowships in gastroenterology at Medical City Fort Worth and transplant hepatology at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Mehta is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and Subspecialty Certification in Gastroenterology. She is proficient in upper endoscopies, variceal banding, colonoscopies, liver biopsies, paracentesis, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography. Her specialties include gastroenterology and internal medicine, and she is skilled at treating and diagnosing a wide range of conditions.

All of us here at The Liver Institute at Methodist Dallas Medical Center is extremely excited to have Dr, Mehta on our team, as she provides a high level of skills to the Group, and allow the continued development of the transplant programs at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
