Liver Life Walk DFW 2016 is here!
The Liver Institute at Methodist Dallas proudly presents its 3rd Annual Liver Life Walk! On Saturday, September 10th, hundreds of walkers will come together to support the American Liver Foundation in their mission to promote education and research for the treatment of liver disease. Click here to view our event flyer.
This is the third year The Liver Institute has supported the American Liver Foundation as a Presenting Sponsor. Help us do our part in the fight against one of America’s fastest-growing public health concerns – liver disease.
How can you get involved?
Supporters may choose to walk either a 5K or 1K to raise awareness throughout DFW for the 1 in 10 Americans who suffer from liver disease. Participants who raise at least $100 will also receive a National Walk t-shirt to commemorate the occasion. This year’s family-friendly event will also feature a DJ, face painting, massage therapists and more!
There are a couple of ways you can get involved!
- You can donate to support our team or a specific walker
- You can join us as a walker and raise money for liver disease awareness!
For additional information on how to join The Liver Institute’s team or support the American Liver Foundation please contact our team captain, Miya McClary, Liver Services/Marketing Coordinator at 214-947-4420 or e-mail MiyaMcClary@mhd.com.
