Check out Dr. Hector Nazario and the rest of the team in the March issue of Living Magazine!
Recently, Dr. Hector E. Nazario and the partnering physicians at The Liver Institute at The Methodist Dallas Medical Center had the pleasure of being featured in the March 2015 issue of Living Magazine. This issue was distributed to homes throughout the areas to the North and Northeast of Frisco, putting the spotlight on The Liver Institute’s focus on comprehensive care not only at its main location in Dallas, but also through their tertiary centers. Many of the physicians treat patients from more than one location, providing liver services in Plano, Richardson, Fort Worth and more.
The Liver Institute specializes in the treatment of diseases affecting the liver, pancreas and bile ducts. They take a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach in the treatment of all patients. Their group of highly-skilled, fellowship-trained physicians works in collaboration to provide the best care and outcomes to all patients in a convenient setting.
In addition to providing standard therapies in the treatment of liver disease, The Liver Institute brings cutting-edge technology, both medically and surgically, to North Texas communities. For example, as the only practice in the area offering Fibroscan technology, Dr. Nazario and the team are able to determine the extent of liver disease in a noninvasive, safe way without requiring a biopsy in most cases. The physicians at The Liver Institute are also actively involved in numerous clinical research programs that are locally and nationally recognized, developing new treatments for diseases such as Hepatitis C.
